On "KAI Engineering Designs Sustainable MEP Systems for New JPS Health Network Clinic"
Engineering firms getting bylines for MEP design work on healthcare clinics doesn't tell you much about what actually matters to the plumber in the field—the spec, the sequencing, the actual buildability of what they drew. A sustainable systems story is great marketing, but it dodges the real question: did KAI design something that works cleanly on a tight budget and doesn't require three RFIs to clarify the routing, or did they spec something that looks good in renderings and costs the contractor a fortune to troubleshoot on-site? Until you see the actual mechanical drawings and what the fixture counts and pressures actually demand, "sustainable MEP" reads like a feature, not a credential.
